WIRED - Children's Church

Sunday Mornings Dismissed at 9am Worship Service 

WIRED is a church experience for kids age 4 through grade 4 that meets during our Sunday morning 9:00am worship service.  WIRED is all about "being connected." It connects kids to each other in fun Bible-learning activities. It connects kids to great role models with our dedicated adult volunteer teaching team and our teen assistants. It connects kids to "big church" as WIRED expands on a "children's sermon" delivered to the whole congregation.  And, most importantly, it connects kids to the Light – Jesus Christ!

Children's Shawnee Studies

Sunday Mornings immediately following Worship Services with a 10:30am start.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.”  Ephesians 3:20-21. If your child is in WIRED, then their WIRED registration covers your child for participating in their break out grade class for Shawnee Studies hour.

For our 5th/6th Graders staying for their "WIRED Up" hour during Children Shawnee Studies, please take a moment to register them for their class.

Awana Clubs -Sunday Evenings 4:45pm to 6:45pm

Starting Sunday, Sept 18th, 2022 and runs through May 2023

Awana (K-6th) - II Timothy 2:15 which states, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth", is the key verse of the Awana program. This ministry is designed for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade and is held on Sunday evenings from 4:45pm to 6:45pm during the months of September through early May. Children involved with the Awana program learn Bible verses and stories, play games, and sing. Special activities include Olympics, Bible quizzing, and the Grand Prix Race.

Vacation Bible School - (VBS)

July 10 to July 14, 2023 from 8:45am to 12:00pm

We are pleased to announce that our Vacation Bible School (VBS) theme this year is Stellar - Shine Jesus' Light.  

​

• VBS week is Monday, July 10th through Friday, July 14th 

• From 8:45 AM to 12 PM.  

• VBS is for children who are entering Kindergarten in Sept 2023 up to children entering 7th grade in September of 2023.  

• Our form will ask for the grade year that relates to September 2023, which is the grade your child will enter in September. 

• Remember to click under the Education Field the grade that relates to  ENTERING GRADE for September 2023.  

 

Please register early to allow for classroom setup. Registration will close on Wednesday, July 5. Parents must accompany children in to the building to check them in and for pick up at  the end of the program.
