I was born in Denver, CO but my growing up years were as a pastor’s kid in Ohio. I am grateful for godly parents that faithfully taught me the scriptures, helped me to see my sin, and showed me Jesus. At a young age I made a profession of faith trusting in Christ’s sacrificial work on the cross for the forgiveness of sin. After graduating with my undergrad degree from Faith Baptist Bible College in Iowa, I married my wife Änna in 2004. Before moving to New Jersey, I served as Program Director at a Christian camp in Iowa and in youth pastoral ministry at a local church in Colorado. In 2014 we moved to New Jersey and I served as an Associate Pastor at Shawnee while completing seminary studies through Clarks Summit University. In 2018 I transitioned into the Senior Pastor role. Änna and I are grateful God united our family with the people of Shawnee and we enjoy raising our four kids in the Pinelands of South Jersey.
